Pearl millet :

MPMH-17 (2012)
It is a dual purpose hybrid of pearl millet with high grain and stover yield and it is a cross between ICMA 04999 (female) and a Restore MIR 525-2 (male). On an average it yields 2835 kg/ha. It matures in 79 days and flowers in 48 days. It produces compact panicles with medium size grains (seed weight of 6.5 g/1,000 grains) of globular shape and grey brown colour. The hybrid attains height of 181 cm with spike length of 26 cm.

MPMH 21 (2016)
It is a dual purpose hybrid of pearl millet with high grain and stover. It matures in 75 days and flowers in 47 days. It produces compact panicles with medium size grains (seed weight of 7.8 g/1,000 grains) of hexagonal shape and grey brown colour. The hybrid attains height of 169 cm and panicle length 20 cm with thickness of 2.6 cm. It has high level of resistance to downy mildew, blast and resistant to smut.

Sesame (Sesamum indicum) :

It is a white and bold seeded high yielding variety notified in 2011 at National level for zone-I, comprising of Rajasthan, UP, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, HP, Punjab, Haryana and J&K. It matures in average 85 days. It has 3-4 branches, plant type branched and dark green in colour and variety is having multi-capsules. Its average seed yield is 7-10 q/ha and oil content (49.7%). It is resistant to macrophomina stem & root rot, leaf curl, phyllody and moderately resistant to cercospora leaf spot and capsule borer (Antigastra).

Isabgol :

RI 1 (Identified)
Suitable for arid & semi-arid area of the State. Plant height varies from 29-47 cm and average seed yield is 12-16 q/ha. It is lesser susceptible to downy mildew compared to local types.

Grain amaranth :

RMA 7 (2011)
It matures in 100-130 days. The average yield of variety is 14-15 q/ha. Plant height and inflorescence length is 120 and 55-60 cm, respectively. Variety has 12.1% protein and 5.8% lysine.
