Dr. Durga Prasad , Controller of Examinations - Controller of Examinations
Born in the state of Uttar Pradesh on March 1, 1980. He obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture & Technology in Ayodhya (UP). In April 2022, he began working as an Assoc Professor at Agriculture University in Jodhpur. He formerly worked as an Assistant Professor at Banda University of Agriculture & Technology, Banda (U.P.), and Bihar Agril University, Sabour. Previously, he has performed several duties in addition to teaching, research, and extension; including Officer Incharge, Plant Health Clinic & Disease Forecasting; Hostel Warden; Officer Incharge, Central Store; Incharge, Experiential Learning Unit; Incharge, Mushroom Lab; Assistant Director Research; Assistant Dean Students' Welfare; HOD, Plant Pathology; Incharge, Farms; and Incharge, Ragging: Disciplinary Action Committee. During his service in the universities, he was conferred with different awards/ recognitions including the Certificate of Appreciation from the Vice Chancellor, the Young Scientist Award, the Agriculture Excellence Award, the Outstanding Teacher Award, etc. The publications that Dr. Prasad has authored include 35 research papers, 02 patents, 02 proceeding papers, 07 books, 11 book chapters, 08 practical/ training manuals, 60 popular articles, 21 folders, 02 university road map & vision, 02 research & extension bulletins, and 02 conference proceeding/souvenir. As organizing secretary and in other capacities, he has organized 02 and 14 seminars/ conferences, respectively. In addition to attending 22 seminars/ conferences/ workshops, he also organized 14 trainings/ workshops. As PI/Co-PI, he has completed 09 and 13 research/ development projects supported by the university and outside organizations, respectively.
