Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Keshwana, Jalore is an extension based agricultural institute established by the ICAR under the jurisdiction of Agriculture University, Jodhpur, to aware and promote farmers for adoption of latest and new technology and govt. schemes. KVK, Keshwana functioning since July,1985.This KVK is enriched with all basic facilities like Building, Farmer’s hostels, Demonstration units, Soil Testing Lab, Plant Health Clinic. The instructional farm is 62.00 hectare land.

Thrust Areas:-

• Resource Conservation : Appraise for rain water harvesting, waste management, bee keeping among farming community for integrated farming.
• Crop Production : Introduction of high yielding varieties of field crops including Pearl Millet, Mungbean, Cluster bean, Sesame, Cumin, Isabgol, Mustard and Wheat.
• Fruit and Vegetables : To increase the area under arid fruits and vegetables to sustain income.
• Farm Women : Improvement health and hygienic condition, drudgery reduction and entrepreneurial skill development.
• Organic Farming : Awareness about organic farming in farming community.
• Plant Protection Practices : Popularization of ecological pest management tactics in agriculture.
• Animal-Husbandry : Explore the improved management practices.
