Indian Society of Vegetable Science (ISVS) in collaboration with Agriculture University, Jodhpur, ICAR-Indian Institute of Vegetable Research (IIVR) and Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is organizing the First Vegetable Science Congress on “Emerging Challenges in Vegetable Research and Education (VEGCON-2019)” during 1-3rd February 2019 at Agriculture University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan under the dynamic leadership of Dr. T. Mohapatra, Secretary (DARE) & DG (ICAR). The conference will be organized in 7 Thematic areas viz., Genetic Enhancement in Vegetable Crops; Novel Insights & Innovations in Biotechnology; Vegetable Production Systems; Pest Management; Secondary Agriculture: Value Chain Management and Post-Harvest; Quality seed, IPRs, Technology dissemination, PPP and Agribusiness; and Vegetable Science: Educational Strides.

The congress will provide opportunities for the scientists, academicians & other stake holders involved in vegetable research, development and education to interact and prepare the future road map and policy guidelines.
